On August 9th, the 2020 Global Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Summit (CCF-GAIR) 'Industrial Internet Session' was held in Shenzhen. The conference is hosted by the Chinese Computer Society (CCF) and co hosted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and Lei Fengwang. As the final event of this conference, this event brings together leading Chinese enterprises with advanced technology and solutions in the field of industrial internet, discussing the new trends in the development and application of industrial internet technology.


At the conference, Cai Shenglong, Vice President of SiE Information and General Manager of Industrial Internet Subsidiary, along with multiple industrial Internet platform enterprises such as Industrial Fulian and Shugen Internet, organized the implementation, application, and latest exploration of various demands in the manufacturing industry in the development of industrial Internet "new infrastructure" from different perspectives and application scenarioses.




Currently, in the context of the accelerated development of a new round of global technological and industrial revolutions, as a product of the deep integration of manufacturing and the Internet, the industrial Internet has become an important support for the digital transformation of manufacturing. Cai Shenglong stated that the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry is an inevitable trend, and the current "epidemic" has once again pushed it to the "wind". Therefore, comprehensive asset management is crucial for enterprises, and the stable operation and efficient collaboration of equipment will directly determine the level of production efficiency.

Cai Shenglong proposed a five level maturity model for SiE Information Asset Management on site, which includes five maturity levels: passive maintenance, plan based maintenance, status based maintenance, prediction based maintenance, and standard based maintenance. Starting from the business and technical architecture of asset management digitization, he explained how asset management can achieve digital management processes such as equipment online monitoring, automatic decision-making of maintenance strategies, and model driven maintenance business.




SiE Information's digital asset management approach is to build a device data center, integrate real-time industrial internet data into traditional device management business, and focus on data to achieve a closed-loop planning, execution, evalsuation, and optimization of asset maintenance, continuously settling maintenance strategies. So the digital solution of SiE Information aims to achieve human-machine collaboration, improve management efficiency, including operational sustainability, visualization of asset analysis, and executable tasks. Support through mobility, keep track of work records at all times, and ensure its execution through personnel monitoring. Through online monitoring, personnel can trigger work order information based on early warning and automatic diagnosis, and provide corrective measures. You can also find a better path through overall evalsuation and optimization.

Next, Cai Shenglong will use the case of Tianlu Industry to illustrate the practical significance of asset management in reducing costs and increasing efficiency for enterprises. Inner Mongolia Tianlu Industry is a manufacturer of PVC flooring, with products leading the country in the field of multi-layer coil flooring. Floor production is a typical process manufacturing, where the temperature, oil pressure, and motor operation of each key process from mixing to finished product maintenance are key factors that affect product production efficiency and quality.




In this project, the client proposed project requirements and objectives, including standardizing asset management processes, clarifying equipment accounts, transparent maintenance and repair processes, visualizing key processes/equipment real-time status, early warning, reducing unplanned downtime of equipment, and accumulating maintenance knowledge. The SiE Information team has implemented online monitoring for Tianlu Industry through project implementation, including 245 temperature monitoring, 237 motor current monitoring, and 52 oil pressure monitoring, to ensure the healthy operation of key process equipment. At the same time, data collection for two rice meters has also been carried out to accurately calculate the cost of a single product. Implemented and deployed six modules including asset management, planned maintenance, fault management, work order management, and digital instrumentation, ultimately achieving a reduction of 80% in unplanned downtime, an increase in average equipment utilization rate of 28%, and a reduction of 5% in unit product costs.
